Description
Summary:In the town of Milagro, the use of glass for bottle production is very high ant in zones of leisure and study activities one can find containers to deposit vessels of any material for recycling. That is why it was decided to design a bottle crushing machine whose final product is ready for recycling, with an additional advantage that the machine was built in Ecuador, and more accessible compared to imported machinery. This article shows the steps followed for the design of the machine. To develop it was necessary to go to companies that recycle and process the glass, to establish the characteristic of components and their function. By knowing in advance the various existing models of crushers, and demonstrating the advantages and disadvantages of each one, then followed by the structural analysis using the mechanical design programs, it is possible to select the model on which the design will be based. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations are presented hoping they will serve to further work in the area of recycling, as well as in the field of glass which is very extensive.
