Summary:This article analyzes, with an integrated and compared perspective, the strategies, the priorities, the recommendations and the controls that the World Bank applied in its loans for Argentina, Mexico and Brazil. In particular it studies the financing of the Educative Reform that went after the Federal Law of Education, and the Fund for the Improvement of the Educational Quality in higher education in Argentina; the participation on the Basic Education Development Project of Mexico and the Project for financing Higher Education; and the successive projects of Basic Education that were implemented in the states of the Northeast of Brazil
