| Summary: | The article is dedicated to the genre of instrumental concert and, especially, to creative works of D.Fedov, the representative of national composition school of the XX century's 2nd part. The attention is fixed on Concerto Nr.2 for piano and symphonic orchestra that is distinguished by the references to the Moldavian folklore. The author presents the history of Concerto's working out. In this article there are also reflected very clearly the form's features and treatment's multiplicity, there are characterized tendencies to improvisation and fluidity of the form. The author describes the musical language used in the analyzed opus to prove, that D.Fedov's Concerto Nr.2 belongs to the most important achievements of the genre.
