The system is composed of a magnetoresistive sensor for car detection and a gateway for delivering the occupancy status of the parking slots to the end-user. A secure prototype system using Arduino and Zigbee module has been built as a proof of concept. The results show that our system is very reliable and can be used to classify car models. |
