| Summary: | This paper analyses the discursive procedures used by the news for the popularisation of scientific knowledge at risk situations in four recurring scenarios: the health alerts, the environmental degradation and economic crises. The aim is to delve deeper into the knowledge of the discursive functioning of the risk and its possible consequences in the displacement of the deliberation mechanisms and citizen participation. As a result, many narrative strategies are discriminated; strategies through which the tensions and conflicts related to the definition and confrontation of global dangers and threats are managed. |
