description | Introduction: Ministry of AYUSH issued advisories for the prophylaxis of COVID-19. To track, follow-up, and encourage these guidelines, there is a need to develop a mobile-based application. Methods: The study will have three parts: (1) preassessment, (2) prototype development of Virtual Immunity Booster app, and (3) postassessment. Results: (1) After login, a set of questions will be asked to the user to assess their perception, physical and mental well-being, and quality of life. (2) Options will be displayed on screen, to opt one or more systems of AYUSH. A common list of items will be generated after choice selection. Now, a reminder/notification will be set by app automatically in their smartphone to sensitize and to promote the daily follow-up as per the instructions. As the user will give their feedback that he/she has completed the task timely, the main screen will show the boosted level of their immunity virtually. The graph will increase throughout the day as the user finishes the tasks. If he/she skips any task, the graph will remain constant and will not fall down. The daily activity will be automatically converted into a weekly graph. (3) Re-evaluation may be done after a certain interval with the help of same questionnaire. Pre and post results may also be comparable statistically. Conclusion: People like more app-based things which they can easily operate and handle. Outcome-based interface is getting more popular and should be tested in AYUSH system also. |
