Summary:The problems of protection and improvement of living and working environment, in order to determine the content of educational process, become its inseparable components and elements. However, both in our and foreign literature, there is no proper analysis of detailed level of study of the possibility of including the protection and improvement of living and working environment in the educational process. According to the author of this work, rapid solving of accumulated problems in this area and further social, technological and economic development at the local, regional and global level require the elaboration of an adequate system of forward-looking scientific and practical knowledge and relying on existing experience. Protecting and improving of the living and working environment is complex and comprehensive area constituted on multidisciplinary basis. Therefore, in the process of forming knowledge necessary for the preservation of the environment it should be taken into account that relationship of man to the nature and society is studied based on the principles of ecology1 . In other words, it means that it is necessary to involve experts from different fields to find solutions to accumulated problems. Therefore, in this paper, respecting the principles of complex, problem-solving and multidisciplinary linking on the inter-subjects model, their interrelation within the curricula of vocational education in the Republic of Croatia is studied, and Vocational school Vukovar, where the author of this study is employed, is taken as an experimental base.
