In order to describe and summarize the main features of EU ETS in the period 2021-2030, this paper reflect the operating mechanism and economic effect of the EU ETS. to summarize, Moreover,considering the dynamic of international negotiations under the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement, the future arhitecture of EU ETS in the post 2020 period also considers the connection of EU trading system with other trading system arround the world in the light of international carbon markets. Based on the current research on the future legislation on the revised EU ETS, this overview may be helpful to recognize and implement the features of the EU ETS in post 2020 period , including in our country.
