| Summary: | In the last few years, a new concept of electronic data processing based on cloud computing information technology has been developed in the field of information technology. According to the definition of P. Mell and T. Grens, "cloud computing is a model of providing a service for network access to a common pool of computing (computer) resources (such as network, servers, data storage, software applications, data processing services, etc.) that can be flexibly configured to the different needs of the user and provided with minimal management effort on his part or interaction with the service provider. Cloud computing is gradually entering all areas of society, including education. According to the national project "Open world", which is planned to be realized during 2010-2014 under the aegis of the State agency of Ukraine on investments and management of national projects, informatization of the Ukrainian educational system should be provided on the basis of the cloud computing concept.
