This article presents a theoretical review on this topic, focusing on mechanisms aimed atminimizing the situation of victimization, such as public policies and specialized police stations. Also presents abrief overview of coping strategies of women facing violence. It discusses the need for research that may help inunderstanding the concept and broaden the understanding of the process developed by women in domesticviolence situation. |
