Summary:The article provides brief information about the field seminars, archaeoastronomy / astroarchaeology conducted in Russia over the past 10 years. T. M. Potemkina took an active part in the organization and conduct of these seminars. Especially great was her contribution in organizing the first all-Russian field seminar, "The Astronomical and philosophical meaning of the archaeological monuments of the southern Urals", which was held 19-25 June 2006 on the basis of the archaeological center of Arkaim (Chelyabinsk region). In August 2008 in Abakan, the capital of Khakassia, on the basis of the Khakas research Institute of language and literature hosted the second national and the first in Siberia field seminar "Astroarchaeology - natural science instrument of knowledge of ancient cultures of Khakassia". In September 2016 on the basis of Novosibirsk state University was held the third all-Russian field seminar "Astronomical research methods of archaeoastronomical objects of mountain ridge "Sunduki" and other historical objects". Topics of reports on the field archaeoastronomical seminars are from the field archaeoastronomy (methods of work, interpretation of results) to the semantic reconstruction of images, symbols and signs of ancient art, which reflected the calendar-astronomical knowledge and understanding of the world of ancient cultures of Siberia and Urals. The seminars were attended by researchers from different regions of Russia and Ukraine. T.M. Potemkina has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the Russian archaeoastronomy as full-fledged research areas by her active participation in organizing and conducting the first all-Russian archaeoastronomical seminars.
