Summary: | Goal. To develop a personalized approach to the administration of an anti-cytokine therapy to patients suffering from moderate to severe and severe forms of psoriasis based on clinical and immunological parameters. Materials and methods. The authors treated 79 patients suffering from moderate to severe and severe forms of psoriasis vulgaris using anti-cytokine drugs; they assessed the clinical efficacy of the therapy taking into account changes in the PASI index and assessed the levels of cytokines (IL-4, IL-6, IL-17, TNF-α, IL-20, IL-22, IL-31, IL-12, IL-11, IL-18), intercellular adhesion molecules, vascular endothelial growth factor (ICAM-1,VEGF) in the blood serum of patients prior to and in the process of treatment. Results. The authors determined the criteria for a personalized approach to the administration of anti-cytokine drugs. |
