The authors treated 79 patients suffering from moderate to severe and severe forms of psoriasis vulgaris using anti-cytokine drugs; they assessed the clinical efficacy of the therapy taking into account changes in the PASI index and assessed the levels of cytokines (IL-4, IL-6, IL-17, TNF-α, IL-20, IL-22, IL-31, IL-12, IL-11, IL-18), intercellular adhesion molecules, vascular endothelial growth factor (ICAM-1,VEGF) in the blood serum of patients prior to and in the process of treatment. Results. The authors determined the criteria for a personalized approach to the administration of anti-cytokine drugs. |
