Description
Summary:In mobile electric drive systems, the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) drive system is preferred for development because of its high efficiency, power density, and low maintenance cost advantages. The PMSM speed control method based on the active and reactive power control of the inverter eliminates the division of the control area based on the reference speed. In order to improve the ability to respond quickly to PMSM speed changes caused by load torque changes or reference speed changes, the article proposes a control method using an advanced Fuzzy PI controller instead of a traditional PI control in the speed control loop. The results obtained by simulation on MATLAB/Simulink demonstrate that the tracking control quality robustly remains at the working point in the steady state and simultaneously reduces the tracking error to the new reference speed and load torque values.
