Summary:Neoplasia is defined as a group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and invasion with dissemination from the primary site to other sites in the body. The following paper presents different types of tumors both malignant and benign in dogs and cats; the increased rate of cancer, the symptoms of oncological nature, the diagnosis of different neoplastic formations with the help of general and specialized clinical examinations, the treatment and the chances of survival of animals. Metastasis in different tissues or organs by lymphatic or blood route occurs in advanced stages of cancer.
