| Summary: | One of the most important problems of SMEs, which are important in many aspects such as production, investment and employment in national and local economies, is their financial difficulties. In order to make SMEs more effective and sustainable, it is very important to identify financing problems and solutions for SMEs. From this point of view, this study aims to reveal the financing problems of SMEs in Batman and the solutions to these problems. In this context, a survey was applied to 404 SMEs and statistical analysis was performed with the data obtained from the surveys. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the majority of SMEs have financial difficulties and they expect a great amount of support from public / private institutions in order to eliminate the financial difficulties. As a result of the regression analysis, it was found that if the financial problems are eliminated, it will affect the local economic development positively. |
