Description
Summary:The article is dedicated to the subject of study of integrative linguistics, including its formulas that reflect the boundary between nominative and communicative acts as two forms of speech activity (SA). A differential approach to SA is offered which adds psycholinguistic analysis to the linguistic one. Functional differentiation between nominative activity and communicative activity is based on the presence of internal (mental) and external (linguistic) dimensions. Two functional correlations are discovered within nominations and communication: informative and communicative, discovering and nominative. Functional differences of the two SA forms are complemented by the dissimilarity of their products. Nominative units are different from communicative units in their composition, linguistic means used to form them, and construction models, the contents of the originating mental processes. The examination of nominative and communicative acts provides support for developing two formulas of the integrative linguistics subject: 1) “language system + communicative activity”; 2) “language system + nominative activity + nominative units”.
