description In a systematic review, the authors concluded that the incidence of seizures was 2.3%, while its prevalence was 3.1% in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). In a study from Iran, 3.2% of the patients with MS experienced seizures. Occurrence of an epileptic seizure in a patient with MS may complicate the management process of the patient. Questions, that may arise include “how should we approach the patient”, “how should we treat the patient”, “how should we modify the patient’s MS treatment strategy”, etc. During this talk, I will try to provide answers to the frequently asked questions about the management of seizures in patients with MS considering the best available scientific evidence.
