Summary: | This paper is an introduction to Domenico Jervolino’s Discurso Filosófico e Existência em Ricoeur: Filosofar após Kierkegaard that we have translated to Portuguese. The paper is divided into three main sections: firstly, we reflect upon the reception of Paul Ricoeur's thought in Brazil, especially with the translation by/interpretation of Hilton Japiassu; secondly, we analyze some aspects of Domenico Jervolino's work and the interpretive horizon that it left for the reflection upon of Ricoeurian thought; finally, we seek to think about the place that Discurso Filosófico e Existência em Ricoeur: Filosofar após Kierkegaard occupies in Jervolino's work and in the context of Brazilian tradition on Ricoeur's thought.
