Summary: | The present study was conducted with the aim to determine the role of parents and peer attachment in predicting social self-efficacy in Students.This research was a correlational study that was conducted in 2013. The study population comprised all third grade Students of intermediary schools of Zabol. 251 students were selected based on Multi-stage cluster. To evaluate the research variables, Armsden & Greenberg (1987) Attachment to Parents and Peers scale, and the Connolly (1989) Adolescent Social Self efficiency Questionnaire were used. The data of research were analyzed Pearson correlation and multiple regression analyzes. SPSS version 21 was used for data analyzed. The findings showed that Trust and relationship with peers have a positive and significant relationship with social self-efficacy in Students (P<0.01). According to regression analysis findings showed that the relationship with peers predicted the variance in social self-efficacy in Students (P<0.01). According to the results, it can be concluded that trust and communication with peers can play a significant role in increasing the social self-efficacy of adolescents. |
