Description
Summary:This paper proposes to reconsider the notion of 'aesthetic sociality', based on a philosophical and analytical reading of social foundations. Most notably, it draws on socio-anthropological, psychoanalytic, and philosophical approaches to recast Tönnies’ classic communitas/societas opposition, so as to reassess the notion of “organic solidarity“, in particular in terms of its relation to a post-modern socio-cultural order.
