Summary: | In this contribution, I would like to illustrate the concept of a “Sacerdotal and Synagogal Judaism”, an hypothesis that I have been defending after others and with others for several years. I will take into account the 4th century Roman legal documentation whichis external to the Judaean world in a period during which it is increasingly attacked by a strongly grewing Christianity. The hypothesis of Sacerdotal and Synagogal Judaism is far from being unanimously accepted. It arouses opposition from several sides, both scientific and ideological or even religious/ If the first arguments are admissible, the seconds are not necessarily acceptable. I will not try to convince by a performative argumentation, but by a documentary illustration. |
