Drawing on the broad argumentation base of Western sociology, in particular key works by G. Standing, R. Dahl, F. Saunders, M. Lazzarato and others, the author tries to elucidate the social mechanisms of the total spread of contemporary forms of art, when art creativity becomes commodified, and the long-term prospects for a culture of the future lose their relevance, as the flexible market subordinates to its mercantile laws the intangible spiritual activity and artistic formation of a society still dreaming of going over to the Post-Fordist phase of its development. |
