Description
Summary:This article contributes to the conceptual and policy debates on the relationship between climate change, security and conflict in Latin America and the Caribbean, a region that is experiencing a growing environmental and social vulnerability as a result of recurring extreme weather events and high levels of citizen insecurity. The study proposes a typology of conflicts generated by inequalities between those who cause the phenomenon, those who suffer the most, and those who should bear the costs in order to face its consequences.
