description | The objective of this research was to validate through confirmatory factorial analysis the suicidal orientation inventory (ISO-30) in a sample of Me-xican adolescents. A quantitative methodology was used, with an instrumental approach. We worked with a sample of 403 students of secondary level, in the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. The sampling method used was incidental. 49.5% of the sample (n = 208) corresponded to men and 50.5% (n = 212) were women. 40.0% of the students are in the first grade, 30.3% are second grade and 28.8% correspond to third grade. The ISO-30 suicidal orientation inventory was applied, composed of 30 reactants written in the form of a trial with a Likert response format. It is concluded that there are important similarities in the results found between the argentine standardization of the scale ISO-30 and the one presented by the research with Mexican population, but they are the small and subtle differences that guarantee the validity and Reliability of the instruments and the possibility of making adequate predictions and analyses to the studied population. |
