Description
Summary:The drilling activities and production of hydrocarbons can be hindered by the state of stress and strain, which in most cases may create instability in the well. Taking into account the conditions and properties of the well is possible to create a model that reproduces its geomechanical been possible to reduce the uncertainty when drilling. To do this in the present work we use the commercial software ANSYS as design computational tool, which is based on the finite element method and allows analysis of the stress and tension. One of the main problems faced during the design of 3D models is the lack of symmetry due to the properties on the vertical axis can vary greatly. For this model is used initially to conduct a preliminary analysis of elastic material model. The result can be seen in 3D deformations suffered by the side of the well and pressure profiles in radial and axial direction through the axis of the well.
