In this study, a new treating method in which sodium hydroxide solution introduced to treat jute fabric in order to enhance the performance of jute/epoxy composite. Different percentages of alkali-treated jute fabric-reinforced composites have been developed and their mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, flexural strength, and impact strength have been assessed. Physical properties like thickness swelling and water absorption test were studied.
