Summary:Pre-eclampsia is a disease that can affect several organs and systems. Neurologic repercussions are particularly feared, provoking, among other manifestations, seizures and blindness. Imaging techniques are available to elucidate the pathogenesis of this complication, also allowing us to diagnose other brain lesions: CT, MRI and transcranial Doppler. The authors present some aspects of imaging techniques related to the neurologic complications in preeclampsia/eclampsia.
