Summary: | Informational acessibility is a fundamental theme in the archival institutions agenda, more precisely on the policies of access to information, in a way to promote the democratization of the services provided by the institutions. It’s verified if the archival institutions adopt good practices on their websites, regarding the accessibility of people with functional diversity, in a way to allow their inclusion on the use of virtual platforms of access to information. It is a descriptive research and
of quali-quantitative nature, on which the automatic validator AccessMonitor is used, following the
standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to evaluate the conditions of accessibility on the websites of the national archival institutions from the Ibero-american countries. It’s pointed that in the analysed institutions, high traces of accessibility are not assured, according to the international standard used as methodology of verification.
