A retrospective analysis of the card file has been applied to observe a sample of 681 babies.It is established that the breast-feeding rate is 66.1%.This percentage of the babies who have been fed for 6 months and more is greater for 13,5 than in the period from 1992 to 1996.The results show that consistent acceptance and ralization of the WHO/UNICEF initiative for the breast-feeding support has led to an increase of the breast-feeding rate. |
