Summary: | After the liberalization of the international coffee market, some alternative systems for coffee production appeared, as strategy for achieving sustainability in producing regions. Even tough the numerous contradictions on these productive systems, with time there are more participants on them, in part because the economic advantages they promise to producers compared with the traditional system. In this paper I made an analysis about these alternatives and a geographical analysis about how Mexican coffee producers participate in them. |
