Summary:Azerbaijani famous writer Huseyin Javid has a great importance from religiousphilosophical and turkish -ideological point of view. Samiha Ayverdi and N.F.Kisakurek are also notable figures who have specific places in the turkish literature of Republican period. The mystical-philosophical ideaology plays a significant role in the novels by Samiha Ayverdi. In this article we analyse and compare Huseyin Javid's “Devil”, Samiha Ayverdi's “Man and Satan” and N.F.Kisakurek’s works. It is necessary to point out that this article focuses on the analysis of devil character and the conflict between soul and body in these works. Despite genre differences, they contain similarities on subject. These works investigate the human soul torn between God and Devil.
