| Summary: | ÖZ: Dünyada her geçen gün artan çevre, sağlık, ulaşım gibi birçok problem, bunlarla mücadeleyi de zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bisiklet ise bu mücadelede basit bir araç olmasına rağmen, kullanımı ile ya da alternatif ulaşım araçlarının kullanılmamasını sağlayarak, üreticisi ve tüketicisine sağladığı faydaların dışında ortaya çıkardığı diğer dışsal faydalar ile tüm bu sorunlara küçük de olsa bir çözüm sunmaktadır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmanın amacı, herkes tarafından erişilebilir bir araç olmasına rağmen günümüzde hak ettiği değeri bir türlü alamayan bisiklet kullanımının neden yaygınlaştırılması gerektiğini açıklama, alıcı ve satıcısına sağladığı faydalar ile pozitif dışsallıkları da ortaya koyarak, daha iyi bir gelecek için basit bir çözüm yolu sunma arayışı olmuştur. Bisiklet kullanımının çevreci, eğlenceli, ucuz ve herkes tarafından erişilebilir bir araç olması da konunun önemini bir kat daha arttırmaktadır. ABSTRACT: World is witnessing ever increasing environmental, health and transportation related problems day by day. In fact it is a struggle to overcome them. While the use of bicycle is a simple tool for this aim, it provides a solution by the external benefits that it causes apart from the fact that it is an alternative to other transportation vehicles and by using bicycle it prevents the use of them as well as the benefits it provides to its producer and its owner.
The aim of this study is the shed light over the question why the use of bicycle should be encouraged that though it is accessible to everyone, it still does not have the rate of usage that it deserves. Moreover, by putting forward the externalities that it provides to its seller and its buyer, the search for a simple solution for a better future is given. The fact that bicycle use is environmental, fun, cheap and accessible to everyone increases the significance of subject. |
