description This paper presents a system solution for precise and reliable measurement of the turbomotor angular velocity in a wide dynamic range, from 10.000 to 95.000 rpm. Special attention is dedicated for selection of sensor element and hardware implementation for conditioning the signal obtained at the output of a sensor operating in the environment in which are present exhaust gases, high mechanical vibrations and big temperature changes. The accuracy of implemented system is better than ±0,45% on the whole measuring range.
