| description | The religious reformism of the beginning of the twentieth century in Russia was based on some historical precedents. One of them was probably the religious worldview of archimandrite Feodor (Bukharev), the religious thinker of the second half of the XIX c. The author raises the question about the perception of archimandrite Feodor’s religious conceptions by New-Christianity. The author uses Bukharev’s conceptions: 1) about “corporeality”, 2) about christianization of all areas of a human’s life. The article covers Bukharev’s correspondence to deacon A. A. Lebedev, his follower, in which the archimandrite explained his ideas and statements. The correspondence had an important meaning because of publishing in an academic journal and the infl uence on a liberal clergy over six months before the revolution. The supplementary sources is the not published letters of archpriest A. Ust`inskiy, Bukharev’s follower supporting the views of New-Christians. Also the author uses some articles of Bukharev. |
