| description | The main demographics credentials which forming the country’s demographic situation are analysed in this paper. The emphasis is on the analysis of a demographic setting in Russia under conditions of demographic crisis. A certain place in this paper is occupied by the description of a mode of reproduction of the population of Russia depending on two components: natural and migratory population movement interrelating with the social and economic processes proceeding in modern society. The values of gross and net reproduction rate for the Federal Districts of the country are reproduced. This article also presents the results of forecasts of the population performed by the Federal Service of State Statistics and Institute of Demography: National Research University Higher School of Economics till 2025; the evolving negative effects are stated as the indication of the next phase of demographic crisis. |
