Summary:This dataset conducted a comparative analysis of sustainable construction practices of foreign and indigenous construction firms in Lagos state, Nigeria using a structured questionnaire survey. The dataset contains the level of awareness and consistency of practice of sustainable development on construction projects between the foreign and indigenous construction firms and the impact of implementing sustainable development practices. Descriptive analysis such as frequencies, percentage and mean score were used to present the quantitative data in form of tables. Further analysis of the dataset highlight the practices of indigenous and foreign construction firms in sustainable development which can be beneficial to stakeholders in environmental protection and mitigating climate change issues.
