description | The author presents the stage in knowledge of the security
concept, the (quantitative and qualitative) definitions of this concept function of
risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. For this noble purpose, a method of investigation
similar to the "thread of Ariadne" was used, which guided / guided us through the
avalanche of information of scientific facts. The general method (valid for all
sciences) was used, but also the one specific to the socio-human sciences.
However, unlike the common knowledge – which is superficial – the scientific one
has a theoretical structure and certain methods / techniques of investigation
(research) and hypothesis verification procedures; in addition, it also has a
scientific language that includes concepts and notions. In summary, the
methodology used here represents the path of science – the set of stages and tools
of scientific knowledge of (in) security. Therefore, the methodology covers the steps
that are taken for our research to answer the questions of the topic (The theory of
security and insecurity) and to achieve the objectives set. At the same time, our
endeavor is also focused on the research of theoretical knowledge sources, in
order to understand the possibilities of optimization of security capacities and
capabilities employment |
