| Summary: | There are important springs utilised as drinking water sources for a public group water supply Turòa Drienovec Koice in the area of Dvorníky, Turòa nad Bodvou and Drienovec. Near the trace of the water supply there is an important hydrogeological structure Vysoká , located in limestones. The Vysoká structure was until now not utilised as a groundwater source due to its dispersion and due to prevailingly hidden outlet of the groundwater beneath sedimentary rocks of the Turòa basin. Hydrogeological exploration works carried out in the past pointed at the utilisation possibility of this advantageously located area. Results of recent exploration works confirmed exploitab-le groundwater resources in amount about 50 liters per second from the area of the Skalitý (Rocky) spring. However, there is highly probable environmental impact on the surroundings caused by exploitation of the above mentioned groundwater amount. |
