| Summary: | The result of the study of saproxylic coleopteran species collected by the method of trunk traps and baited traps (with beer) from the ”Plaiul Fagului” Nature Reserve in the summer-autumn period of 2022 is included. A total of 255 coleopteran specimens were extracted and identified, that belong to 32 species, 28 genera and 18 families. The species Oxylaemus cylindricus (Creutzer in Panzer, 1796), Cryptarcha strigata (Fabricius, 1787), Cryptarcha undata (Olivier, 1790), Glischrochilus quadriguttatus (Fabricius, 1776), Corticeus fasciatus basalis Reitter, 1884 and Mordellistena neuwaldeggiana (Panzer, 1796) are new to the fauna of the Republic of Moldova.
