Description
Summary:The opposite demographic courses have resulted in expressive polarization of the area of Serbia on zones of pressures (urban centers) and zones of emptiness (rural settlements). By applying the cartographic method a relation between the areas and population of urban and rural settlements of the Serbia district has been presented as an index of their concentration degree. By constructing the combined sign, a concrete and thematic area has been presented by using a corresponding type of the area - semi-scale. The complete metric coordination and mutual comparability of all series of signs have been attained by the proportional constructing of the thematic map contents.
