The author, relying on a comprehensive methodology, seeks to present the urban space as an integrative whole, including subject and semantic fullness, to identify the features of its transformation. The analysis of the socio-cultural space of the city is based on the study of the space of the city of Chita, its correlation with the factors contributing to the emergence of this space and the reasons transforming it.
