Summary: | This article aims at discussing and analyzing the concept of « competence » in the field of Education and Training, by consulting school curriculums and training programs in different countries. On the other hand we explore the ambiguity of this term, its conceptual confusion, and its association with other concepts, trying to distinguish its theoretical and epistemological limits in relation to all the action levels of 'instructional design and educational practices. |
