O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar elementos nas ações de licenciandos em Matemática, que sinalizassem a presença da gênese instrumental (GI) ao resolverem tarefas de Probabilidade no contexto da maquete tátil. Foi utilizada como fundamentação teórica a Teoria da Instrumentação (TI) proposta por Rabardel, sendo que nesta teoria a gênese instrumental (transformação de um artefato em instrumento) pode ser investigada a partir do Modelo das Situações de Atividades Instrumentadas, considerando-se os polos: Sujeito (S), licenciandos em Matemática, Instrumento (I) maquete tátil, composta por peças e tarefas da Sequência de Ensino Os Passeios Aleatórios do Jefferson (SE PAJ) e Objeto (O) os conceitos básicos de Probabilidade. A aplicação foi realizada com nove licenciandos em Matemática (quatro grupos), em um único encontro de três horas/aula. Foram analisadas as relações [S-I], [S-(I)-0] e [I-O] para investigar a presença da GI nas ações e respostas de apenas um dos grupos (dois alunos) em cinco das treze tarefas da SE PAJ, que abordavam o conceito de chance e se referiam/utilizavam a peça campainha. Analisando os resultados, identificou-se, por exemplo, os seguintes elementos que sinalizaram a presença da GI: a autonomia crescente dos alunos na manipulação das peças, o amadurecimento do conceito de chance, evidenciado por uma mudança nos esquemas de utilização dos alunos, de acordo com as diferentes situações apresentadas. Por fim, verificou-se que a maquete tátil, inicialmente com status de artefato para os alunos, transformou-se, considerando a GI como um processo contínuo, num instrumento, demonstrando o potencial deste material para o trabalho com Probabilidade.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the present elements in the actions of Mathematics undergraduate students, that signaled the presence of instrumental genesis(GI) whilst they solve probability tasks in the context of tactile model. It was utilized the theory of instrumentalization(TI), proposed by Rabardel, in which the instrumental genesis (transformation of an artifact into instrument) can be investigated from the model of instrumented activity situations, taking into account two poles: subject(S), mathematics students, instruments(I), tactile model, composed by some pieces and task of teaching sequence The Jefferson aleatory walks(SE PAJ), and the object(O), the basic concept of probability. The study was carried out in a three hours section with nine students, divided into four groups. It was analised the relations [S-I], [S-(I)-0] e [I-O] in order to investigate if GI was presented in the actions and answers of one out of the five groups, regarding to those tasks which involved the concept of change, as well as to observe if these students referred or used to the peace of bell. It was also identified, for instance, the followed elements that signaled the presence of GI: the increasing autonomy of students to deal with the pieces, the maturation of the concept of chance, evidenced by a change in students' use of schemes, according to the different situations presented. Finally, it was found that the tactile model, initially with device status for students, has become, given the GI as a continuous process, an instrument, demonstrating the potential of this material to work with Probability. |
