description | Bow Hunter's syndrome (BHS) is a clinical syndrome of vertebral-basilar system ischemia or infarction resulting from mechanical stenosis or occlusion of the vertebral artery(VA) during rotation or extension of the head or neck. This syndrome has variable, complex and impalpable etiologies. Here, we introduce a special case of BHS with an ossified left upper oblique muscle. This case illustrates the subtle symptoms of the condition as well as a potentially unique underlying etiology. |
