| description | The article describes and explains the authors’ approach to the preservation of green spaces in city centers during neighborhood reconstruction. Sustainable spatial development of neighborhoods with preserved green spaces is considered. Key issues in the development of such areas are highlighted and the main problems of in the development of city blocks with green areas to be preserved are identified. The advantages of city block formation according to the principle of eco-approach are considered. International and Russian experiences in the design of such areas are reviewed. A modern concept of protected planting conservation is determined, and principles of working with such area are given. Social accessibility, comprehensive ecological approach and complementarity are proposed as fundamental criteria for sustainable development of such neighborhood plans are proposed. The indicators to be used are urban processes. Urban green spaces are considered as the most important aspect of the modern urbanistic approach to urban neighborhood spatial development. |
