description Cultural exchanges between Iran and Anatolia in Selijuks of Rome not only caused the promotion of Persian language and literature and other cultural events in this land but also in terms of Historiography, Ottoman historians in the ninth and tenth centuries AD were under the influence of Persian methods. In order to code the histories of Al- Ottoman, they received the news and chronicle of the Turk tribes, especially the Ghayyi Tribes, mainly from the Iranian sources. Their writings were duplication from the historical style of Ilkhanid and Timurids eras such as “ Jamot Al- Tavarikh” by Rashidaddin Fazlallah Hamdani, “Jahangoshi” by Jovaini and “Zafarnameh” by Yazdi. Narration styles, using the literary lyrics and themes, having religious and providential view towards historical events, and also mentioning the time of news, and geographical and social information along the political news were some of procedures modeled in Ottoman Historiography. That is why in this study we focus on the ways of affecting Ottoman historians in methods, perspectives, vision and style from the Persian historiography in the mentioned era, with special emphasis on contents of some main sources. We try to show that how the Ottoman historians, like the other scholars, were affected by thoughts of Iranian scholars.
