Summary: | When learning a foreign language, a need soon arises to exceed the limits of simple utility, and to put a personal stamp on discourse. A writing workshop aims to integrate two dimensions of the act of writing: on the one hand the participation of the writer (a deeper relationship with text, his emotions) and on the other hand the codes and strict constraints which paradoxically release writing, creation leading to liberation. The method is to start from the subject’s desire to communicate his texts to others, as the point is to link this aim to the incorporation of aesthetic and thematic values in the texts, contributing to narcissistic repair (of those moments when language may be lacking). Work on comprehension and metaphore will be central, the aim being to improve writing competence by valuing distinctiveness. The feature is the changeover as thinking processes are progressively constructed in another language, to be established without question. To achieve this, it is best to have a good guide. We shall explain here our methods.
