Summary:A major problem faced by every airline company is to construct a dailyschedule for a heterogeneous aircraft fleet. In the present paper implementation of aircraftrouting and scheduling for cargo transportation, known as one of the scheduling problemin transportation, in an airline company is presented. First, problems faced by thecompany are defined and then implementation steps and expected improvements that willresult from carrying out the solution of mathematical model of the problem are given indetail. The purpose of this paper is to describe, analyze and evaluate a case study of howaircraft scheduling was managed in an airline company.
