Summary:Due to the change of object's purpose a project for rehabilitation, reconstruction of the existing building was made. Project also included additional new part of the building. Building have ground level, first floor and attic. The new function of building requires the removal of three central reinforced concrete pillars. The project analyzed several alternative methods of rehabilitation. Due to the increasing load on the existing pillars, it was necessary to strengthened them. In addition to the pillars, it was also necessary to strengthen the foundations. The project for a new part of the building included a laminated timber structure. The project also planned a construction of a gallery as a new functional area.
